Katherine Rudyj-Coon

HI, I am Katherine Rudyj- Coon, the owner of Dance 22. I have been teaching dance to children and adults for the past 39 years in the Rochester area. While working towards my degree in music at Humber College, I quickly realized my true passion was dance. For me dance allowed me to further express the meaning behind the music. At the early age of 6, I began my dance training at Joyce Winters School of Dance. Throughout my teenage years I had the privilege of studying under various Master teachers; Tom Ralabate, Luigi, and Gus Giardano, to acknowledge a few. I continue to study dance by attending conventions and workshops sponsored by Dance Masters of America and Dance Rochester, which I am a member of. Also, being a mother of two children I am fully aware of the uniqueness of each and every child, therefore, my goal is to assist each student individually throughout their training. I always look forward to welcoming both new and old faces, allowing our Dance22 family to grow
